He had Type 1 diabetes for 32 years. He found about that he has celiac disease when he underwent some tests for his kidney stones problem. And with the second blood test it got confirmed. He never had any other symptoms. He coped up the situation by eliminating all gluten related food from his kitchen. And his hardest aspect is the convenience on the availability of gluten food when he is eating out.

She is 27 yrs old , a mother of two daughters and working full time. Due to her symptoms of constantly been sick and exhausted, her doctor decided to test her for Celiac disease, and it was confirmed.
Her symptoms started at an age of 13 years, when she use to suffer from migraines, seizures, anemia, stomach pain, anxiety and brain fog. In her early 20’s, other symptoms started to appear like joint pain, diarrhea, etc. When she found about her celiac disease, she started her research and followed gluten-free lifestyle which changed her life completely for the better. Now she enjoys cooking and baking new gluten-free recipes.

She was diagnosed with celiac when she was 22 years. But her symptoms started from age of 10 like having rashes to numb fingertips, randomly feeling breathless and faintish and also constantly feeling anxious and stressed. She always use to feel bloated and thought it was normal as she was overweight. There was no awareness of celiac in India back then.
She felt very grateful to be diagnosed as she knew gluten-free and living life as a celiac is the only way to turn her life around. It gave her a better understanding about the needs of her body. She felt blessed to be surrounded by her friends and family to have supported her journey and accepted her gluten free living.

Her daughter when turned 3 was diagnosed with Celiac disease. She was not doing as well as growth chart should be. She constantly complained of stomach discomfort and bloating. Her appetite was poor. With the help of tests & endoscopy she was told by the doctors that she has to be refrained from eating gluten containing products. Initially it was a difficult situation to manage with a 3 yr. old but later taking medical help and advice from nutritionist on what to eat in gluten free, it became part of lifestyle. As there was no medicine for this situation, eating nutrient rich gluten free foods became prime importance for her physical & mental growth. The main limitation they faced was lack of awareness in outside food establishments and in schools.
