Crispy Crackers Made with Green Banana Flour

Light, crunchy Crispy Crackers crafted from Nihkan’s Green Banana Flour, sesame seeds, and a hint of ginger. These gluten‑free, vegan crackers bake up in under 15 minutes and make a perfect healthy snack or party appetizer—serve with your favorite dips!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Nihkan Green Banana Flour

  • ¼ tsp baking soda

  • ¼ tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

  • ½ tsp ginger powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cup warm water

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, sesame seeds, ginger, and salt.

  3. Stir in olive oil and warm water until a smooth dough forms. Let rest 5 minutes.

  4. Divide dough into eight portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion into a thin circle.

  5. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut each circle into 4–6 cracker‑sized triangles.

  6. Arrange crackers on the prepared baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 10 minutes, then flip and bake an additional 5 minutes, until edges are golden.

  8. Transfer to a wire rack to cool fully and crisp up. Store in an airtight container.
