Sprouted Millet Khichdi Made with Dehydrated Sprouts 7 Grains Mix
This Sprouted Millet Khichdi is a powerhouse of nutrition, made using Nihkan’s Dehydrated Sprouts 7 Grains Mix. Packed with plant-based protein, fiber, and essential minerals, this comforting one-pot dish is perfect for a wholesome lunch or dinner. It's naturally gluten-free, easy to digest, and full of flavor—making it ideal for both everyday meals and detox plans.
Ingredients:

½ cup Nihkan’s Dehydrated Sprouts 7 Grains Mix

¼ cup moong dal (yellow split lentils)
-
1 cup chopped vegetables (carrot, beans, peas, etc.)

1 tsp cumin seeds
-
½ tsp turmeric powder
-
1 tsp grated ginger
-
1 tbsp ghee or oil
-
Salt to taste

3 cups water
-
Fresh coriander for garnish
Directions:

Soak the Dehydrated Sprouts Mix in warm water for 15–20 minutes. Drain and keep aside.

Rinse moong dal thoroughly.

In a pressure cooker, heat ghee/oil. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add ginger and sauté for a minute.

Add chopped vegetables and sauté lightly.
-
Add soaked sprouts, rinsed moong dal, turmeric powder, and salt.

Pour in water and mix well.

Pressure cook for 2–3 whistles or until everything is soft and well cooked.

Let the pressure release naturally.

Garnish with fresh coriander and serve warm with curd or pickle.
