Healthy Gluten Free Millet Thandai Cake

Ingredients

  • 100 gms butter / oil for vegan recipe
  • Condensed milk -175gms/ alternative milk of your choice with 100gms of sugar
  • Milk 300 ml (add to adjust consistency) or you can use alternative milk or water
  • NihKan’s  Sprouted Jowar flour 175 gms
  • NihKan’s Green banana flour 25 gms
  • Baking soda 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Baking powder 1 + 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Thandai mix 2 Tablespoon
  • Rose petals for garnish
  • Pista for garnish

Instructions

1. Mix Butter, Milk and Condensed milk together and mix it well.
2. Add all the dry ingredients and mix it well and pour into a greased container.
3. Bake it for 45 minutes at 170°C.

For sugar glaze
1. 1/2 cup powdered sugar
2. 1tbsp non salted butter (optional)
3. 1-2 tsp milk/water

For garnishing
– Sliced Pistachios
– Rose petals
– Sliced almonds

Thandai powder – for 100g mixture

5-6 peppercorns / sabut kali mirch
15-20 cardamom / elaichi seeds
2 tablespoon fennel seeds / variyali / saunf
½ cup almonds / badam
½ cup pistachio / pista
1 tablespoon melon seeds / magaz / kharbooje ke beej
1 tablespoon poppy seeds / khus khus
pinch of saffron / kesar
