Healthy Vegan Gluten Free Sprouted Millet Upma

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (100g) NihKan’s Dehydrated sprouts- Super Millets Mix
  • 2 tbsps ghee
  • 1½ tsps mustard seeds
  • 2-3 green chillies, chopped
  • 7-8 curry leaves
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 small carrot, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 4-5 beans
  • ¼ cup green peas
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon 1tsp
  • 3 cups water approx 650 ml water

  1. Take NihKan Sprouted Millets. Add water and cook in Pressure cooker till 3-4 whistles are released. approx for 10-15 mins until grains are soft to chew.
  2. Heat ghee in a kadai (pan), add mustard seeds, green chillies, curry leaves and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add onion and sauté till translucent. Add carrot & peas and sauté well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add salt, and mix well. Add cooked Nihkan Sprouted millets and mix well.
  5. Add some lemon and garnish with coriander leaves.
  6. Serve hot!!
