Healthy Hummus Recipe Made with Sprouted Chickpea Flour
A wholesome twist on the classic Middle Eastern dip, this healthy hummus is made using sprouted chickpea flour instead of traditional boiled chickpeas. The result is a creamy, nutrient-rich, and gut-friendly dip that’s easy to digest and quick to prepare. Perfect as a dip, spread, or accompaniment to salads and wraps.
Ingredients:

1/2 cup NihKan’s Sprouted Chickpea Flour

1 1/2 cups water

1/4 cup tahini (sesame paste)

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 tsp cumin powder

Salt to taste

1 tbsp olive oil (optional)

Paprika or chili powder (for garnish)
Directions:

Mix the sprouted chickpea flour with water in a saucepan until smooth.

Cook on medium heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring constantly until it thickens into a paste.

Let it cool to room temperature.

Blend the cooled mixture with tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt until smooth and creamy.

Adjust consistency with a splash of water or lemon juice if needed.

Transfer to a bowl, drizzle olive oil, and sprinkle paprika or chili powder.

Serve chilled or at room temperature with veggie sticks, crackers, or as a sandwich spread.
