Savoury Sprouted Legume Chilla/Dosa – Gluten-Free High Protein Recipe

This savoury chilla/dosa made using NIHKAN’s Sprouted Super Legume Mix Flour is a high-protein, fiber-rich, and gluten-free twist on a traditional Indian breakfast. With warming spices and the option to add a protein-packed filling, this recipe is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a healthy tiffin box. Enjoy it with chutney or curd for a complete and nourishing meal.

Ingredients
For Chilla/Dosa Batter:

  • 1/2 cup NIHKAN Sprouted Super Legume Mix Flour

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric

  • 1/4 tsp cumin

  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder

  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Water to make a thin batter

Optional Filling:

  • Paneer/tofu sautéed with spinach, onions, spices

Directions

  1. Mix flour and spices with water in a bowl to form a smooth, lump-free, thin batter.

  2. Heat a non-stick or iron pan and grease lightly.

  3. Pour a ladle of batter and spread like a dosa.

  4. Cook on medium heat until golden and crisp. Flip if desired.

  5. Add the optional paneer/tofu filling, fold, and serve with chutney or curd.
