These indulgent yet healthy Chocolate Pancakes are the perfect combination of rich cocoa and nutrient-packed NIHKAN’s Pancake & Waffle Mix. Naturally gluten-free and adaptable for vegans, this recipe makes fluffy, delicious pancakes that are great for both breakfast and dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup (45g) NIHKAN green banana flour pancake mix

  • 1 tsp brown/refined sugar or maple syrup

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp sweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or other milk substitute)

  • 1 tsp oil (for cooking)

  • Dark chocolate (melted)

  • Blueberries and chopped almonds (for topping, optional)

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients to form a smooth batter.

  2. Preheat a frying pan over low heat, grease with oil, and pour the batter.

  3. Cook until bubbles and holes appear on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes.

  4. Serve warm with melted dark chocolate, berries, and almond toppings.
