Ragi or Finger Millet is cleaned, washed thoroughly and left to soak for 12 hours. It is then sprouted over the next 12-24 hours , further dehydrated in low temperatures and milled into flour. This product contains no additives, is free from artificial preservatives, synthetic fillers or binders. It is 100% natural. Ragi is used as a healthy substitute for rice and wheat. Ragi is undoubtedly a powerhouse of nutrition. Loaded with protein and amino acids, this gluten-free millet is good for brain development in growing kids.
It is gluten free and plant-based and perfect for making Ragi malt for a quick nutritious breakfast bowl or plain porridge for babies and toddlers. It can be cooked with water or milk to make a porridge. There is no sugar or salt added in flour hence, you can add any sweetener of your choice like honey or jaggery.
