Green moong whole is cleaned, washed thoroughly and left to soak for 12 hours. It is then sprouted over the next 12-24 hours , further dehydrated in low temperatures and milled into flour. This product contains no additives, is free from artificial preservatives, synthetic fillers or binders. It is 100% natural.
The process of sprouting breaks down the enzyme inhibitors present in the green gram, making it much easier for the body to digest and absorb the nutrients.
It is gluten free and plant-based and perfect for making Green mung dal cheelas or crepes for a quick nutritious breakfast meal. Can be used to make delicious moong daal halwa, savoury or sweet pancakes or can be mixed with other flours for crispy healthy texture in fritters or pakodas. Also can be used for soup thickeners.
